WHAT IS AN IFA?

An IFA is a company engaged in the provision of independent financial advice, which can be understood as the realization of personalized recommendations to clients on financial instruments and advice on auxiliary matters such as capital structure, industrial strategy and other services related to mergers and acquisitions.

The activity of the IFA focuses exclusively on providing financial advisory services to its customers, a very distinct activity from the management or distribution of financial products.

The IFA operates under the regulatory framework of the Securities Market Law, Royal Decree 217/2008 and by Circular 10/2008 of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). They are also subject to rigorous control exercised by the CNMV.
